I mean I think u can have basic empathy and still be satisfied about the high irony at play here.

I will say that I find it concerning that ppl in the thread are straight up convinced conservatives are Evil, bc that is literally dehumanizing a whole group of ppl. if you want a whole group of ppl killed that makes u in basic terms no better than Israel, no matter your agenda.

if u actually want to be better than them you need to understand that bigoted a******s are not evil but just confused, dumb, insane, I dunno. it's ok to hate them but you still need to think about ways to get them back to their senses, as impossible as it might seem rn. cause like, a genocide of bigots can't be the way.

It’s wild cus two people on my IG that expressed empathy for Kirk were Mexican and black. They were talking about people that show no empathy for Kirk are disgusting

And that’s what makes me feel crazy. Trump and all his affiliates hate minorities and want them to not have rights or even exist. I just don’t get those you can be a minority and be proud to support people that want you to not exist

I don't believe in anyone being essentially evil. there are people who's every act is pure evil, no doubt, just look at Netanyahu, but I still make an important distinction between ppl's actions and their essential being. they can always choose to stop acting evil, if faced with the evil you've done.

it's fair that the genocide comparison was a bit tasteless and tbf they don't even deserve to be put in this victom role, I just wanted to provoke to think about what the long game here is supposed to be. sure, you can assissanate some ppl or go around hunting KKK or nazis, but you won't be able to exterminate bigotism in society... especially bc it will immediately be weaponized by bigots to find more following and to dehumanize you, bc now you're the evil one going around killing.
