    People will try to find the backstory to the music they listen to whether its a Taylor Swift love song or a gang anthem. Its not a fetish

    It’s no different than people being fascinated by true crime, outlaws in the old west, the mafia, etc. People find stories of deviance interesting, no matter how bad it is for the participants.
