Did you not read what I said...

I said Trans isnt a slur depending on context & how you say it - vice vera

Then added what i would assume is an easy comparison for most people to understand further by saying "its like the same with Gay"

Calm down bro I wasnt even chastizing you or playing you lol

In what context would it be a slur? Because I don't understand what other word/term would be 100% appropriate and not a slur. Like I need an alternative to use if yall saying that one can be iffy

That's like saying calling someone black can be a slur because people are racist with it sometimes, when that's just a factual descriptor

And I'm calm, I'm not coming for you or the other guy Just trying to get informed and avoid offending anybody in the future

There's no need for an alternative because like you said it's a factual descriptor not a slur, just like cis

If you say something like "He's a black" or "one of those Blacks" thats where black is then used as a derogatory lol.

If you say something like "thats gay" or say "theyre a gay".

Which is then in a insulting/judgement/slur-like way. Its an obvious undertone & point out of a person(s) in a demeaning or non-approving way.

If you describe someone as black or gay in conversation it is not a slur or offensive.

I mean its very simple. Its the same logic with Trans.

Wrong example: "You know, theyre trans.." - right example: "That person is Trans".

Extreme bad example: "That she-he over there claims to be supposedly Trans"

You can use it as descriptor but not as a character. You can use it as long as it doesnt sound like a coverup or negative undertones. Yoi can use it as pong as it doesnt sound like a assumption or inferring.

The black example should be the easiest one to get.

There are words other words like this - how a person says and the context of saying Jew/Jewish or Muslim. Or back in the day when "re-tard" was still professionally used but also civilianlly used as an insult. Etc.

Its basic english double talk that has roots in being racist without being outwardly or obviously racist besides those in the know on your side with similar views.

    Aka - a dog whistle.

    Its nothing new.

How you write or say something makes all the difference in English. Just look at regular words such as there/theyre/their or were/we're/where etc. Our language is tricky & "sneaky" on purpose.
