Looks like a better deal I could sell it for 700+ and put in the extra. Could get xbox gamepass, emulate old games, cheaper deals on steam and 🏴☠️.
Not really excited for any PS5 exclusive besides God of war
i say just keep the ps5 and save a bit more to have both. But if u only need one yeah come pc side fr
do you play with friends on ps or do u mostly do single player games

tbh pc might be good idk that much about emulators though but i think they run well for older games
ultimately your decision tho

It’s a goat edit made by a goat poster
For $1k you can get a real good PC. Unfortunately the GPU market is in flames, but you can potentially just find a decent prebuilt on sale
nah
gpu market is f***ed rn (a PS5-tier+ GPU on resale market will cost all the money you get off selling the PS5)
prebuilts are also a b**** to upgrade if they use custom OEM parts
Nah, 700 dollars is not enough to build a quality PC. If you want my advice, if you've got $1200+ to build a nice PC with a 30XX graphics card and a high quality CPU, its worth it. you're gonna miss ragnarok, spiderman 2, wolverine and thats about it (and those games arent coming out for years). If you wanna couch game you can put your PC in the living room and plug in a TV. Plus as you said you can get game pass, you can emulate everything up to PS2/gamecube perfectly and also switch and even PS3 if you are willing to put in the work.
but if you dont have the cash for a high end PC, from my experience you're going to be frustrated trying to play the new AAA games such as Elden Ring, Halo Infinite, Forza 5, you're not gonna be running them on Ultra settings, you'd get better performance on PS5 for the games that aren't xbox/pc exclusive. And if you're only dropping 700 dollars, you're gonna be stuck on medium settings for 2022 and onward games like IO007, Starfield and whatever else (and maybe even worse performance tbh). To be honest, 700 bucks on a gaming PC and you're already outdated. If you don't have 1200+ its gonna be frustrating.
now, if you don't care about ultra settings and running the most demanding games at 60fps or at 1440/4k, then disregard the second paragraph
Are you going to want to play the exclusives?
Also, I’d wait until you secured a GPU at least. Currently they’re impossible to get. And PC’s are expensive. Depending on what you want $700 could actually be the cost of like one or two components.
You’ll need $1500 to get a PC that runs games similarly to the PS5
It’s a better experience overall, with mod communities, Steam sales, console commands, no paying for ps+, the list goes on, but it’s not as good of a deal as PS5
It’s definitely worth it if you’ll use the PC for other stuff, art, animation, music production, film editing etc.
Mostly single player
Get a PC. Trust me bro.
I was as console as they come, a Nintendo fanboy with every chick-repellant console/game ever made, but PC changed my life. I only play my switch for it’s exclusives now (which are still great btw)
PC just got God of War as an exclusive, so future PS exclusive titles might get ports eventually too.
