The Ye method
ye takin the s*** too far tho he been droppin duds for like 10 years
Album in question?
late 60s stuff like Nashville Skyline and especially Self Portrait (which was actually bad) were him saying; "I dont want to be your generational spokesperson, stop taking me so seriously" at a time when left wing terrorist groups were naming themselves after his lyrics and people were digging through his trash for a literal shred of evidence that he was their saviour, stalking his family and s***.
He also tried back in '65 with things like Maggies Farm and Its All Over Now Baby Blue but the music was still so good nobody listened.

the Chalamet biopic really failed to capture the drama of Dylan going electric.
like the tension in this clip alone is so much more intense than they portrayed;
also Timmy should've tapped into a much more addled methamphetamine characterization. Similar to JP in The Master tbh.

Pablo and Donda both have like 17 great songs on them
I always remind myself whenever he gets hate its because he truly has never dropped a bad album and never will. And is definitely the #1 of all time
Enough with the critic bait and quality control. I think Kendrick dropping a mediocre project would really revitalise his career.
In theory he did what you’re saying with GNX and it is probably his second most successful project ever lol
I do think now is time for another artsy traditional GKMC/TPAB Kendrick type project and anymore veering into a mainstream type sound is gonna start some weird narratives, and tbh the weird narratives already starting like this thread lol. He should go full fledge into the party thing for a project lol

Its wild how a musical transition would cause that much of a frenzy
