My whole point is, if mccain won in 2008, he would've won in 2012 because he is a f***ing war hero and he has that automatic winning condition of being a sitting president, that's how bush won in 2004 against kerry. But Mccain winning (twice) would allow a more mature obama to run in 2012-2016 and sweep any republican (romney?) completely taking the tempo from people like trump. Trump wouldn't win against obama, he is gifted speaker, but with an actual good rep president like a 2 term mccain, plus a "younger obama" trump would have no ground to stand on.
