people bashing op are chronically online twitter herbs, its perfectly okay to ask out a service worker as long as you are respectful and dont breach their physical boundaries, my current girlfriend, i met while i was travelling bali, she was the hotel maid in a lesser known provincial costal city and i noticed that she would constantly look over at me while servicing my room and seemed to be giggling behind her mask to me in a shy and playful manner. without a second thought i drew up a gameplan on how i would ask her out the next morning timing her schedule with me getting out of my morning shower. keeping in mind that she was a service worker and that she is ordered to be nice to the guests i approached lightly and then asked her out for dinner to the hotel diner upstairs. she said yes and thats all there was too it. dont let these insecure weirdos talk you out of geniune human contact/relationships. what you layed out in op is perfectly fine and normal so dont be afraid to shoot your shot and clear your name because your reputation is everything.

I don't work a service job any more but I loved when women hit on me , s*** for a man that makes our week, Chick working at Mcdonalds called me handsome like 2 months ago and I still think about that s***.
