Giving a detailed explanation as to why you don't like something and talking about what would be better will always be much more well received by the fans of people you're "shitting on" as opposed to just saying "Loooool this s*** is garbage fam"

Most of the time there’s nothing “useless” about publications/critics reviewing music, because there clearly must’ve been some impetus for them to check out the project in the first place

i feel like when there’s a small artist and you saying a project garbage with your platform you’re kinda getting people to not be interested with the project to not check it out or they listen to it with a bias in mind. that’s how i feel anyway cos fantano calling that weight of the world album some rap songs 2 don’t help fantano or mike whatsoever and it hurts an artist more if the review is obviously wrong like that one

etantYea I feel that. Tbh when I was watching him, I'd only watch him when hes wearing a yellow shirt cause tbh I don't want him talk about a record he don't like. Like I'd rather get put on by music he likes rather then not listening to music he doesn't like.
Like I remember I didn't listen to peep untill he died just cause he didn't like it and I was put off by it. Even tho I quite like several of his tracks after listening to it
this what i mean cos if he say something garbage a lot of his fans will be swayed by him
