Why waste a transplant on someone who isn't doing everything in their power to prepare their body for it?

The rules for non-compliance for transplants are already incredibly important. No different. They aren't wasting good organs on someone likely to die.

Literally nothing new at all your referencing.

If you aren't taking your meds or not following other doctor orders, you aren't getting a new heart either

This is different than just turning someone away for not being vaccinated.

No. They should just have to pay out of pocket for care related to Covid complications if they willingly refused the vaccine

    Insurance shouldn’t cover them.

If they’re in there for a heart attack and refused the vax then who cares. Treat them for the heart attack like you would anyone else. If Covid is f***ing them up and they need to be intubated in the ICU then let them know it’s coming out of their pockets.

  • Jan 27, 2022

Not only do these people flood the ICUs and waste spots with something that they had every chance to prevent, but once there they STILL refuse to take any precautions to spread that s*** where it's most impactful?

Idk about this decision but let me say it's incredibly hard to feel for them.

The solution is not to deny them service but to have them pay for it out of their own pocket

Anti vaxxers are the ones opposed to universal healthcare so let them niggas get sick and experience privatized medicinevfor themselves

Enjoy debt cause you were too p**** to get a meager ass shot

  • Jan 27, 2022

No, they should have to take a COVID test to prove they are negative before they are able to get any surgeries done. With the free COVID test resources, this should not be a problem at all now.

They already have pre-screening questions that ask if you've had COVID or any COVID symptoms anyway.

  • Jan 27, 2022

The question in the title and the articles in the OP are not related also

One is turned away for care, one is being turned away for organ transplants.

Organs are obviously very limited and not something you are just entitled to because you need one.

you don't trust the doctors in the first place so why are you getting medical treatment at a hospital if you won't get a vaccine.

  • Jan 27, 2022

I mean if you test negative before the surgery. why not? Specially if they are life saving surgeries.
