Went to twitter to look at other signed cd’s
They are all the same….. signature in same location, exactly the same..: no errors
Fam this s*** used a stamp
I don’t have the heart to tell her Taylor did not personally sit down and sign 200,000 cd’s ….. at an average of 5 cd’s a minute that would take 11 days straight.
How do I break this news to her… it’s like telling her Santa isn’t real

FriesDepends on the artist tbh, I can't imagine the logistics of fulfilling the demand for signed Taylor stuff
From what I've seen it's usually booking the artists in for the most boring day of their lives, just signing an endless pile of merch
Yeah expecting legit signed stuff from Taylor or Bieber is crazy…way too much demand for it to be humanly possible
Some people actually do be signing it tho and post vids of them doing it…Big Sean…2 Chainz…shit I even think Nicki posted a vid signing when she did the 69 song

For real, I've seen small indie artists do signed editions of 1000, I've seen artists as big as The 1975 do legit signed editions of albums, but when you get to the scale where you're using autopen, just don't do it, that's gotta be false advertising, I think the only reason there's not a law against it is that most people don't know it exists

not necessarily true. most artists nowadays just do fake signatures, like Taylor did in your example. I personally think they should have actually had Taylor sign Vinyls / CDs but instead of 200,000 she should have done maybe 500 - 1,000 and Actually hand sign them, it would make them a lot more valuable
