Is the HD version of Silent Hill 2 good enough to play for the first time? Have always heard iffy things about it but the original is expensive and I can find the HD collection for a good price

I would say emulate the original with pcsx2 if you can, you can upscale up to 4k and it looks amazing

the hd collection is really as bad as everyone says it is, but if that's 100% the only way you'll get to play the games then that's better than nothing imo
