I've had a newfound appreciation for CrasH Talk and I feel like the hate it gets is unwarranted. However I'll never truly understand how Chopstix came to be. I just refuse to believe Q made that track and said "Yeah this the one!" But I guess when Flopdawg Entertrainwreck is behind the decision making of album releases...shit tends to get pretty fugazi.

kendrick probably implored him to make it, he's the one who wrote the hook and i'm guessing he gave it to Q as a gift. he must have spent at least an hour assuring him it would be the biggest hit of his career.

Tbh if Kendrick kept the song for himself and still featured Travis I'm sure most people would lie to themselves and say it's a great song
there's gotta be a hype to kill to begin with
This was like the only decent song on that album
His other single with Wayne "running back" was also garbage. Wales career still hasn't recovered from that album.
Honorable mention -
Kendrick single "I" had niggas scratching their head about the direction of TPAB, then he made up for it with "Blacker the Berry". But I was worried at the time.
This s*** hard af
If anything it would increase my hype
F***kk
Dude dropped Duppy Freestyle and that great IG post, and then says “Back to the album” and drops this s***
