after some time, this album is really good, dont think its as good as his past 2.
I backgrounded it a few times and it was great for that, when i paid more attention to it for a few listens it was still really good but its lacking some of the energy and doesnt have the same quality of writing, i think the sounds and beats are still pretty top notch though.

I feel like the album never really tops the singles either, even though there is some great songs besides still.

I love No Evil, I think it is fair to say that its not a style a lot of his listeners will enjoy, Dangelo drops 1 song every decade atp so its not like a lot of younger people are familiar with him too, so kinda makes sense imo.

Feel like No Evil will be pulled into some hero/antihero movie or some action movie and pop off tbh lmao

100%. I expected more of a dark experience so it really threw me off at first, and i was offput by all the commercial stuff he was doing, esp since the first quarter sounds like its gonna be heavy but then the 2nd half is mainly love songs. But once i settled into what its going for, its a great experience i get songs so stuck in my head. Ignorant, karma, satisfaction, nothing even matters,no evil, and YOU are my favs

Heavy is still just alright to me, the second half is where it starts to shine the most. Poetry in motion is still amazing tho
