The grind house colors/film grain made the game super unique

Was def weightier too. And had way better music

free to play skate with seasons and a battle pass for clothes/boards and s*** would be nice tbh

skate 3 was just easier to get into for most people felt easier to play

plus the character and skater style customization is gonna be super dope i already know it

people dont like the idea of a skate pass even though 3 or 4 of those is the same price as the actual game and will provide content drip to earn with (i hope) cool daily and weekly challenges

i also want base game achievements and stuff to earn outside of a skate pass though, otherwise it will feel cheap at launch and throw a lot of people off

The argument you make about it adding up to a full price purchase is fair, BUT I'd rather pay 60 for the whole game, and they drip dlc. Free or otherwise

Rather than paying 60 for cosmetics in a game that was released for free. And pray that nothing cool is 20 dollars

but why do you and others keep insinuating that if it drops for FREE it won't have base content? Fortnite really messed up the way people view free games because they dont have to be empty at launch with microtransactions only

i'm sure that EA knows if they deliver base content they can get away with as much monetization as they want, but like you and me and we all say - ONLY if there's base content, right?

it's dumb to trust EA to do the right thing - but tbh the greedier plan WOULD be to give us a solid base game that doesnt turn people off at launch and then add on all that extra content for years after, pure success

Purely speaking in hypotheticals, if it's free, it's for sure dropping without the same level of polish/content that you'd expect

Tony hawk barely scraped by with that reboot, NBA and NFL streets are dead, SSX is dead after a fire reboot, and all of these "skate. but even more obtuse" games are just early access wackness

EA's sports games and NFS games are developed by EA developer studios

this game is kinda like Black Box tbh where EA is funding them to make the game how they want but as a publisher will obviously advise them to make the game that can make the most money

however it launches is up to the developers UNLESS the publishers decide to launch it before it is ready

based on the teaser and them not showing us anything that could be because they are NOT being rushed and they ARE delivering a breathtaking experience for those who love an arcade-sim-hybrid open world AAA skateboarding game

Skate 2 with hardcore mode would be the best of the franchise. Hardcore mode alone makes 3 better imo. 2 definitely has the best spots of the 3 games tho

but Skate 3's hardcore difficulty physics are almost the same as default Skate 2

Skate 1 is so much better than Skate 3

Skate 2 is the best but i think even Skate 1's story and progress and map is just so much better than Skate 3

been thinkin about this dropping alot lately

for me its skate 3 > skate 1 > skate 2, i never got to play 2 much tho
