Normal is cool, I always thought the grinding mechanics were broken on hardcore cause I swear my skater won't initiate a grind even if I hit a ledge

is there ex-black box devs on this game?

Oh yeah it’s definitely much more difficult pulling off grinds on hardcore.

Personally I like the added challenge cus it makes the game closer to a skateboarding simulator (being able to adjust the sensitivity of your flip tricks is nice).

All I do is play the Freeskate (aka Freeplay) mode though.
Put some music on via Spotify + skate in only one location = easily generate hours of gaming for me lmao
That’s why Skate going free-to-play may not be such a bad thing cus I won’t get tired of skating the same spot over and over without any objectives
And if I nail a sick combo/line then you bet imma pull out the replay feature and record that s***

have you ever tried to do all challenges on hardcore mode? Some gaps feel like they are not designed for it and sometimes the fall damage kicks in too early

No, actually I don’t think I even bothered with progressing through the single-player campaign in S3 (whereas I did beat S1 and S2)
That may change once we get closer to the actual release of S4 and hype levels are increasing

Skate 3 wasnt worth full price tho

game had no story, purely optional solo play tbh

new Skate having no story but an open world multiplayer focus with cosmetics as the main way to make income is actually an amazing plan

as long as the game launches relatively bug free and in 4K60 on console and as long as we get some default/free stuff that fills the game enough for the broke boys then itll be fine
