Just got the Good Science Beauty 003-Hy Hydrating Face Cream. Using it on my hand it’s nice gonna see how it treats me for the next few weeks

I use tret on my dry face and don't layer with anything.

I do put some moisturizer near my nose though because that's the only place tret makes my face peel

Is your skin flaky and red or just one of the two? I’d recommend an extremely hydrating routine with fatty acids and hyaluronic acid to build a moisture barrier and nourish it.

Is cleansing oil necessary @op ? I'm trying to up my Korean skin game now my skin isn't bad tbh used to suffer from acne but they all pretty much gone, have some tiny blackheads on my nose. what's your overall product routine? You have any holy grails?

I would strongly advise to incorporate it into your routine, especially if you have blackheads! Check out the products in the first post they’re all certified on my end.

My holy grail of all time and one i’ll always recommend is the Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Lotion which is an incredibly hydrating yet lightweight essence.

I usually switch up products depending on the day but these days it’s usually:

Cleanser - Skin 1004 Madagascar
Treatment - Aczone 5% gel
Essence - Hada Labdo
Primer - Dr. Althea 345
Moisturizer - Red Blemish Clear Emulsion
SPF - Rohto Skin Aqua

sunscreen during the day no matter the weather i used to use a neutrogena one but it left kind of a white cast even tho it’s been fine for my friends i use elta md which is kinda expensive but nice

start with that and use coupons for cvs or whatever and branch out from there
