same here. besides a CeraVe cleanser and lotion and Paula's Choice Exfoliant, I'm not sure what else to use.
any recs on a good setup @op? for both oily and dry skin
If you want hydration, I will always recommend Hada Labo’s Gokujyun Premium Lotion which is an essence so you use it as a first step after washing your face.
I’d also recommend getting a better moisturizer, check out OP for some recs because those are all certified and fantastic.
Adding in an oil cleanser is also really good to help oily skin & allows for safe exfoliation, one in OP is a gem.

@Campari
face has been getting ingrown hairs with pimples the last 2 months when I shave
not really sure why, could be the moisturizer clogging pores or that I shave too close to the skin. exfoliating doesn't really help in preventing it, but it helps to get rid of them after they've appeared. is there anything I can use to fix this s*** I need to shave

Are you using a straight razor? I used to get them too because of close shaving. What helped was shaving with the grain, using super cold water and washing my face with my face wash.
I’d honestly recommend getting a Philips One Blade, life changing product. I have yet to breakout or get an ingrown since switching to that. If you want a close shave still, run a lap of a straight razor with the grain after using the One Blade.
Product wise - Topical’s Ingrown Tonic is really good and has all ingredients you need to mitigate them!

I use a safety razor with super sharp feather blades and I've been doing so since 2017. not much has changed in the way I shave, only the frequency
I've got a OneBlade and recently a Wahl Super Close (shaves faster and closer than the OneBlade).
I still use a safety razor on my neck though since neither the oneblade nor the wahl works well on it.
usually use them when I feel lazy or im in a hurry
i'll try to find that product in EU, otherwise I'll order it off american amazon
randomly woke up with a fat pimple right on the corner of my lip hate dealing with this s*** at 29 man. i've been pretty pimple-free for the last few months though.. lucky i have no date lined up this weekend

Just got into a very basic skin care routine.
All I do is Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, La Roche-Posay Double Repair Face Moisturizer, and Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Moisture Airyfit Sunscreen.
I’m also excited to try out the Tocobo Bio Watery Sun Cream, Japanese sunscreen seems to be the vibe, look how cute these are:
Am I doing okay?

Grown Alchemist's Vanilla, Orange Peel Cream - Found this thru a luxury boutique hotel in Paris and always kept stock since.
