What are y’all skincare routines? Im trying to set one up but it seems hard to sink a lot of money to get the right routine.

I've been slacking lately. Try out the SoonJung line from Etude House. It's quite budget-friendly. I haven't tried it yet, but reviews say the products work well.
just drink lots of water and don’t touch your face too often
I’m Asian tho

Whatever you do, always make sure your skin stays moisturized. You don't have to buy cleansers, toners, and serums, but the moisturizer is a must. You absolutely need SPF, too.
alright ive found my holy grail routine. hopefully this helps someone
Morning:
1. CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser
2. Ordinary Nianciamide
3. CVS Moisturizer (cheaper and works the same)
4. Aveeno Protect + Hydrate Face-Moisturizing Sunscreen
Night:
Same thing but no sunscreen
5. Neutrogena Spot Treatment (only have it over night if its a zit that popped up)

Pretty sure you can get everything besides The Ordinary nianciamide serum.
@vien @jawnz is that part essential/what's it good for?
it helps any red marks the acne left and any other off-color parts of the face
oh and f*** i forgot the neutrogena spot treatment is my favorite for overnight treating of random zits
Also to minimize pore appearance. The moisturizer I use has some in it so I don’t use a separate serum.
I admittedly use semi expensive products, but I’ve tested so many over the years and I’ve finally nailed down my routine. Skin has never looked better

Stratia is godly
Need something to get rid of blackheads on and around my nose Never had a skincare routine because I never needed one tbh, just Nivea facewash and then a tiny bit of coconut oil after to moisturize/for that smooth look and feel (heard that might lead to blackheads though)

Real af for Liquid Gold & Rohto Milk, it’s the best sunscreen I’ve ever used.

Get a chemical exfoliator (Paula’s Choice 2% BHA) which penetrates and goes deep into your skin to remove dead skin cells, sebum & blackheads. Also make sure you’re not confusing black heads with sebaceous filaments.
Oh and stop using coconut oil on your face
I believe in taking care of myself, and a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack, I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water activated gel cleanser. Then a honey almond body scrub. And on the face, an exfoliating gel scrub. Then apply an herb mint facial mask, which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.
