i got stories...
Happens occasionally, I just be stiff and try to focus on moving my toes/fingers
Last few times i felt something grabbing me that was directly a result of my dream
Usually happens when i lay on my back
Yea its thought that it's more likely to occur if you lay on your back. Safest way to sleep if you wanna prevent it would be on your sides.
i've had it multiple times and never experienced any of this crazy s*** that y'all talk about. outside of this one time where i saw some writing that i couldn't make out on the wall when i opened my eyes, i've had no wild hallucinations; just the sensation of my body trembling. almost got used to it to the point where i tried to sleep through it once. even had it when i fell asleep at this boring job that i used to work a couple years ago.
I've only had it once. I was looking at my body from an outside persepective. I thought my soul left my body
i only get this s*** when i’m overtired, have seen demon looking mf’s crawling out my closet coming towards my bed but like i know i’m half asleep and it’s fake. so f***ing odd.

i’ve had something similar happen.. i literally felt like i floated up above myself slowly and then i flew towards my door and woke up, but i knew i was sleeping. i don’t even know how to explain it other than that. seems more like lucid dreaming than paralysis tho not sure.
I have them all the time. I got used to it it’s not even scary anymore.
One time I had my eyes open (I think) and I was trying to touch my face but my hand wouldn’t move. Instead, I saw the spirit of my hand leaving my arm and touching my face, I even felt it. My psychiatrist said it was all an hallucination.
Sometimes I try to break the paralysis and I feel air pressure getting into my ear keeping me in that state. The more I struggle, the stronger that pressure gets. The first time it happened my mind was 100% sure there were aliens doing s*** in my room and not letting my me see. Now it’s like “alright here we go again” and I just go back to sleep
Feels like something is pressing your entire body down into your mattress and you can’t do anything about it
Sometimes I’ll open my eyes and see a black face staring at me from across my bedroom while it happens
Not since i was like 14. Told myself it wasn’t real and to move my hand and I did and it hasn’t happened since
I get it if I haven’t been sleeping well and stay up real late. I snap out of it as I begin to notice it but a part of me wonders what would happen if I just let it run it’s course.

I’ve got it sleeping on my side once. Felt like a demon was big spooning me and breathing into my ear

Dam
it sux cuz your aware that your awake but your body is shut off and you cant really move, yell, nothin just darkness i'm able to kick out of it when i try really hard to move my leg personally ive never seen any demons or hear weird noises.
ive actually had this happen to me recently but i was face down in my pillows
i knew i was awake but i couldn't move i was freaking out & really frustrated then i thought what if im like this for hours then eventually 20 seconds go by & i got out of it
Last time i had it i was convinced someone broke into my apartment and i couldnt move for maybe half a minute until i finally dabbed my way out of it (it was 2016 we could still dab)
