it's simple: Quinn's music under the osquinn persona evoked a certain level of emotion that many artists cannot. Yungster Jack makes cool music, sure, but you don't listen to him when you're at your lowest--Quinn's music you do.

And as for Jack being innovative and a pioneer, I highly disagree--because everything he's done is vastly similar to his best friend David Shawty who is 100% a pioneer (not any dig at Jack, he makes great music). Agree on Kurtains, but he is going up and getting bigger with every release, so I'm not worried with him not getting the praise and fanbase he deserves, he def will, especially w/ the impending release of his EP.

and to regard Quinn as merely "rapping over hyperpop beats" doesn't really make much sense to me, as most of her discog is the opposite of that (i.e. Oblivion, jealousy is a b**** i hate her, ok i'm cool, maybe tomorrow, fml, etc.). just because she blew up off a song or two like that (Bad Idea, i don't want that many friends in the first place) doesn't mean that that's the only type of paint brush she has in her arsenal.
