Part where she realises she killed her mom was one of my fav movie moments in 2024
still debating whether it becomes not my fav since it didn’t really happen or if it maintains being really cool
Exactly. This is basically the bar now as far as mainstream horror is concerned. No more of that James Wann bullshit (respectfully)
That Jason Blum s*** is out of here. besides the Backrooms movie that’s hopefully still happening

The whole car scene with Paul was fire

Both the aftermath of the crash and the scene leading up to it were the most gripping and scary parts of movie to me. Their performances (especially Naomi’s in the aftermath) felt uncomfortably real
Those were the scariest parts of the movie to me not to be corny
F*** man… a microdose of shrooms was the wrong call for this one 😭 this s*** had me stressed as f*** in the theater.
Naomi Scott put everything into this tho, crazy performance from her. Even though it’s supernatural this functions as one of the better portrayals of mental illness I’ve ever seen
is this actually good or just fun schlock?
it’s the real deal. way more traumatic & intense than your typical wide release horror.
Walked out of this. Will try again later

Its good. Some of the scares are absurd and were quite entertaining. Horror movies don't really use them like that.
Though more I think about it I don't like that a significant chunk of the movie was all in her head
Might rewatch if it's still showing at my local theater next weekend
Just got out the theater for this. Goddamn this one smacked. SO much better than the first one.
Naomi fine ass was in this b**** EATING bruh, prolly the best performance in a horror flick this year
The director didn't hold back during the car wreck scenes. Really showed how brutal and nasty these accidents are..

LMFAOOOO
This was f***ing great it made me jump 2-3 times lol I liked it better than the first one. Only thing that kinda bothered me was towards the end with that freezer sequence. Idk if I missed something but it was rather confusing. How she got there then on stage like nothing happened not even her mom dying in the wellness center.
Naomi was fantastic as Skye she did a great job

Everything after the point where she gets suffocated by all of the smiling people in her apartment was a hallucination. The demon was just driving her insane before killing her in front of as many people possible to spread the curse.

Ok now that makes sense thank you

I was thinking, did the scars imply she was impaled on a tree or something? They didn't show her injuries too closely
I didn't like how damn near the entire movie basically didn't happen but this was cool. Think I like the 1st one more, less goofy, and I think the main threat is presented in a more terrifying way
Major points for the intro tho, very well done
