Gonna say what I said in the other thread:

I saw it 2 nights ago and it actually surprised me quite a bit. While not great I had bottom of the barrel expectations and they were exceeded. Some good jump scares and the themes it explored were done solidly. It’s a little derivative (can’t say from what or else it would kind of spoil the movie) and the acting isn’t the best aside from the lead. Not the best horror of the year but very surprising in just how good it actually is.

Solid film overall. Saw it last night. I jumped a couple times and loved the tension throughout. It was better than expected

I’d say yeah, I watched it yesterday night and been thinking about it a lot today. It’s grown on me since then, I enjoy it’s good mix of fun jumpscares while also tackling deeper subjects like trauma and grief without coming off schlocky
