I don’t think it’s a sole reason but none of us really know why they canceled it for sure despite what they say

But to this point, I don’t think it’s an elitist reason or a cringe one because if a fan base is becoming way more larger than you would’ve anticipated, and the culture of that fan base is also something that you never wanted — it makes expectations and pressure of producing your creation a lot more exhausting and draining. This s*** happens all the time in different forms of media and creators.

Lowkey shouldve risked the mid and worked thru the burnout or taken an unannounced indefinite hiatus to keep hopes up and anticipation ready. They killed the show.

Sidenote/rant/dont really got s*** to do wit this: This fear of releasing mid/becoming corny plagues our chronically online generation so much. everyone whos good at their art wants to "go out on top" (bullshit) worry too much bout technicalities (its nuanced but who f***in cares), not "being like family guy, rick n morty, simpson etc (gotta get there first also matter of opinion which is larger than the internet) so "quality" obsessed in subjective mediums like tv/film/music. Im getting tired of this perfectionism in a world of AI where that s*** gonna be easy for anyone to accomplish.

this was the one show that should get the serialized 5-8 season treatment.
