Yeah this is good. The first half is definitely stronger than the second. But it's his best album since his mid 2000s run easily

I would have given this album a high rating if it had anything sounding close to Kush or songs from Tha Blue Carpet Treatment. At this point we are never going to get the authentic West-Coast sound from Dre anymore. Dre for some odd reasons got rid of all the great beatmakers he used to work with on so many projects in the past and started surrounding himself with some substandard producers who just don't cook with the right recipes.

He produced about half of it but yeah it was weird how much he didn’t produce on his own album.
