Few tracks in and the biggest issue for me is how overproduced some of it is. Like the best moment so far has been Hard Knocks because it’s the most minimal rn. Some of them are so overblown that you can barely hear the drums.
Dre beats are so boring now.
If you liked that Compton album, then you might like this, but I didn't, and this was more of the same.
Don’t tell me they muted/banned you

compton was dope
put snoop back on the podcast
and im not sure what Dr Dre does anymore
but is sure as F*** must not be making beats
this s*** is f***in TRAESH
Why is this s*** still stickies and the thread still active lol?
Is the album really that bad?
No it's far from bad. It's one of Snoop best and some of the best Dre production snce 09, althought that doesn't say much
Pretty good album, but definitely not on The Blue Carpet level, let alone Doggystyle
The weakest part are the singles and that Em/50 track
It's only underwhelming if you expected it to be on previous Dre/Snoop collaborations level
It’s like a 5/10 to me
Not terrible but there’s just something off about it.
Some of the production is fire and then some of it is so over the top, that it takes away from the actual song itself.
diabolical to choose to run with the "perfectionist" narrative as your excuse for never dropping and then coming back decades later with, this.
I mean i personally like it a lot but if you ain't into post Compton Dre i can see how one wouldn't Snoop aside
He produced about half of it but yeah it was weird how much he didn’t produce on his own album.
As much as i fw Compton to now Dre i wish he'd buckle down n do it solo but he's past his prime n this is post almost dying too also Dre being a perfectionist has always been the thing that holds him back that drink champs pod him seeing plebs reactions irl i hope gets him feeling a bit more loose but then again it's Dre

As a big Dre fan that's always held him back n was never a valid excuse for me because anytime he'd shelf an Aftermath artists album it'd always be the "perfectionist" excuse which doesn't excuse to holding someones career back because you can't decide what to do with them respectfully

Dre didnt even know what to do with Game and gave him to 50 lmao
