He has his moments on trap beats but sometimes it sounds like he lowkey struggle rapping
Yup, Idk if it’s flow or delivery but it doesn’t compliment his style, it makes him grating to me where the soulful sounds would make him more endearing and the grand sounds would make his a****** persona epic, when he’s on trap beats I feel like I understand how the people who hate Kanye feel, just a d***head yelling

He’s never been a double time rapper. Listen to him on HAM and Paris and compare that to the pockets Hov found. Listen to his verse on Mercy and compare that to 2 Chainz performance

Rapping double time is more commonplace nowadays bc of the trap beats. He doesn’t need to do it all the time. He’s proven he can keep a moderate flow and still kill it but when you hear guys like Lil Baby rap on those tempos he can really attack the beat
