Revisited C5 couple weeks ago and it's really underrated, there is some gems that I find myself going back to
Funeral on the other hand was just really forgettable almost like wayne being a parody of himself

Straight up
I think as Wayne stans we all gotta come to grips with the fact that his voice and content are never going to be the same
So you can never go into a Wayne project expecting classic dedication/drought/carter Wayne.
The voice is going to be shaky, maybe even ruin some otherwise great songs, and the content is going to lean towards thrasher Wayne more than holly grove legend. (for the most part...)
Think about it - he just records music. He doesn't sequence or craft the album. Its completely free-form and organic. In the past that worked wonders for him. These days, not so much.
tighter, leaner albums is probably his best bet. true Wayne fans been waiting for his 4:44 or his King's Disease - mature elder statesman bars...soulful production from Streetrunner...classic Wayne wit... ah, if only I had his ear like tez or mack.
f***ing hated c5, loved d6, and most of funeral, but yeah, his voice now( at least live) is shot to hell.
always fw C5
funeral was overly long tbh couple highlights on there but overall kinda meh (dreams still so hard tho)
