The funny thing is that Drake been through controversy so often he would moon walk through the tear down and have 3 bangers by the end of the summer.

    I'm not necessarily agreeing.

It's just funny that he gets so much s*** for not rapping about it "in depth" but being a conscious rapper doesn't end up buying you any good will.

Cole, Dot even Jay Z. People flip on them easy. Not permanently but it's like shouldn't they be above some of these criticisms.

I’ve never cared about Drake not being overtly conscious in his music since he still has substance. However, given this pivotal moment in history, it would be ill for him to drop a BLM anthem or freestyle...or both. If lil baby can do it then so can Drake.

I like the Cole song but I recognize why there’s some controversy. A lot of it’s overblown but I can understand. Drake has a great opportunity to drop a track focused on the current climate that WILL elevate him. I don’t get why anyone would be against it. He also has f*** you money now so he can say things that he might not have been able to before. A substance filled banger will hit harder than anything Meek, Lil Baby, Noname, or Cole has dropped recently. And if you only care about his album, such a track IS the kind of song to start the roll out of an album that he seems to care a lot about.

He blamed black on black crime for Mike Browns death years ago and dropped the pandering album TPAB to shut people up that’s why I can’t praise that album because see it for what it is

You definitely don't have strong listening comprehension if you actually heard that song and that's all you picked up from it.

I never mentioned a song I’m talking about an interview he did and the album that came after. How are you trying to check someone and talking about something I never mentioned? Worry about your own comprehension because clearly it’s a struggle for you.

That’s not necessarily a good thing. People weaponize it when you don’t speak on things.

This WHOLE J Cole bullshit started because Kendrick and Cole didn’t post f***ing tweets
