if you want music section to be better then make better threads and engage more with the people trying to make it better

i agree but id also say that those bait threads are funny as hell and make this site worth visiting

the sad truth is most of us already found our music niche and maybe there arent that many who are interested in going outside of their comfort zones? just throwing this out as an idea

I agree and for me personally I find that I can get what I’m looking for out of music section by just ignoring the bait threads when I’m trying to find new music

But for people who feel like that balance is off they need to be willing to engage themselves and change things for the better rather than just complaining

youre totally right, tbh i dont find much new music on here cus these days i just dont like what most people are posting, but it would be great if we tried to be more interactive about music instead of about trolling/bullshit

audioconsulting was also 100% paid for some of his posts so there is a reason to keep thread quality high

s*** if they could pay me to make good threads about random artists the front page would look like r/hiphopheads

idk if he was or wasn’t
but idk I feel like it’s kinda transactional to want this site to be constantly full of great posts and high effort and putting ppl on to good music if you aren’t willing to contribute to that in some way
It’s the nature of these things though and we’re looking at ways to incentivize people to do that in a way that’s not just paid promo kinda vibe so hopefully that’ll improve things
