I don't think he needed to oversaturate himself but releasing some stuff would have definitely helped.

Yeah probably, if that was his goal. But I don't think it really is anymore tbh. He proved he can put up the numbers if he wants. And he always gonna do what he wants. That's the type of artist he's always been

I think after Damn Kendrick had a chance to really level himself up as far as being a mainstream force but the wait feels like it’s putting him into Frank territory where he has his audience and niche and that’s it

I think breaks are good for both the artist and listener. Both sides can get burnt out. It's a balance

His last project being well-received doesn't mean s***.
