It's been that way from the start, even the resolution that was amended before we won the Senate (with the advisement of Trump's tweet about $2,000 checks), we were always under the impression it was to be modified to become a full $2,000 check.

How is it a shift? They advocated for 2k and they got 600, so now they’re making up the difference between what they advocated for and what was able to be passed at the time.
