That’s nice and all but it doesn’t add up based off what you said. Someone early in life making the bare minimum to be out of poverty is still being taxed more therefore actively they’re being taxed into poverty themselves and all they get is $1400.
My original post was a joke, but let’s not act like the poverty problem just disappears when you don’t have children. Kids do cost extra but generally there’s two incomes and there’s already hefty tax breaks in income tax and annual taxes.
