I myself own a restaurant that is democratically organized, and all my workers are paid roughly the same as i am myself

why shouldn’t i pay my workers the same as myself? We all perform the same amount of work in the workplace. I take a bit more for doing office work along with running the bar but they known the income i take home. My dad runs the business with me and we take home a healthy amount to feed our family and keep savings.

My father founded the business using his own money to revive a small town’s economy and because of his love of Italian food. Profit and money has never been a dictator of our lives or the restaurant’s direction. All my workers are happy with their wages and they’ve all worked here for over 10 years. Everyone is happy to cooperate and fill in with each other and be open with each other since there is no competition in the workplace, and it creates a healthy environment for both the workers and customers

additionally, you need to clarify your other political positions

republicans are against tax raises in general for the most part. while dems not so much 🥴

however republicans were focused on wrong people last tax cut. obviously i want less tax cuts for people over businesses

republicans are NOT against tax raises. The 2017 bill that cut both corporate and middle class tax rates actually is set to raise taxes on middle class citizens to HIGHER than pre-bill

Dems are similar in that they will marginally cut corporate taxes while leaving the working man to simmer

this is all done without any say from the common man, and with the majority of the yearly budget spent on military as civic programs like infrastructure or public education are cut by both sides

Once again, having lower taxes and better budget spending of that tax money to uplift the common man by government is a firmly left wing position to have.

we already turned a profit on our investment and we are debt free as of 2015, whatever justification there is for not paying my workers equally is pointless.
