The withdrawal from Afghanistan is a total ruse. The US is treating the US embassy like a base of operations still with 650 troops at least. They might also provide troops to protect the Kabul airport where Turkey is committing 500 of their own troops. Not to mention any private contractors in the region. This is all in violation of the Doha agreement with the Taliban which the US signed saying all foreign forces would be withdrawn from Afghanistan. The US is also trying to shift troops into neighboring Uzbekistan and Tajikistan while Afghani forces spill into them as the Taliban pours on pressure at the border regions.
