ehhh, depends. the reduction of personal exemptions and for those choosing to take itemized deductions lost quite a bit in taxes. when you account for some with a high W-2 income as well, they lost even more. not to mention that SALT limit for citygoers.

now, for those in the upper brackets with a lot of investments, they didn't lose much, but those in the lower brackets assuredly did.

Actually it does. The current plan raises taxes during this year, 2023 and 2025 i believe. It doesnt raise it during his first term because he wanted the blame to go on whoever takes over after him and if it falls on him during what could have been Trumps second term, who cares if he gets the blame when he's already won all the elections he needed to?
I also believe it did raise them on lower middle class during his term as well. Which is crazy because that makes up the majority of his constituents
