the only thing they do to "fix" inflation is suppress wages

Explain?
Explain?
Yea
So, there's always going to be some inflation. why it’s so high right now has to do with a few things. demand for goods has been outpacing supply for a while now. some large corporations also took advantage and raised prices
Ideally, inflation and wages would go hand in hand, but wages have been stagnant for decades. And because of inflation the actual purchasing power is lower than it was even 10 years ago. The federal government raised their minimum wage to $15 last year, and some businesses have as well. Some of them passed that on to consumers. Unemployment being so low right now is making businesses compete for workers, and a couple of successful strikes have led to higher wages which also contributed.
What would help is to lower the burden on the average person. We should be curbing our dependence on oil, it’s a drain on most people’s personal income that’s also very sensitive to world events. Investing in semiconductor fabs in the US so we’re not at the mercy of global supply chains for chips. that’s a big factor in prices, because these chips are needed in most businesses, if not most products. Going after monopolies and creating more competition so a few corporations don’t control prices of things like meat, and housing. And of course raising wages.
Would conservatives be interested in any of that if they gain power ? Probably not.
The republican playbook since the 70s has been subsidizing fossil fuels, instead of investing in renewable energy, breaking strikes and labor unions, and outsourcing to other countries. All of that would have the effect of bringing prices down. It would be “fixing” inflation but it just gives more leverage to suppliers. All that really does is kick the can down the road
There’s a couple of people that can explain it better than I can
i honestly thought this was a key and peele skit at first
You're a person that is so much more than your race and gender
I mean i'm not denying that from a general standpoint, but the reasoning for her nomination in a vacuum doesn't do much to prove that, you can't have it both ways
the dude was rhyming like an 1800s Charles d***ens novel in the beginning of his speech about freedom and America
idk how you can’t find that akin to a key and peele sketch
still don’t understand the disconnect between anarchists celebrating u.s government s***
