I’m still gonna get my booster when I can but I feel like I can’t act like it isn’t happening at this point
Someone tell me I’m wrong cus I hope I’m just being crazy
I know, I chose to get it tho cuz I already had Covid and it sucked ass, and I do just wanna go about my life not caring about it (as I have for some time now other than wearing masks when required)
The doctors I work with say there’s no objective correlation from what they’ve seen in their patient populations
no not really

In fact out senior population in NY is f***ing thriving
NYC just had the most positive tests on record this past Monday
Adult population is 90% vaxxed with at least one dose and omicron is bodying em lol

Vaccine reduces severity of cases. People still get COVID with it.
COVID is way worse for your heart than the vaccine is. People really have worms for brains.

Yeah the variant is spreading fast, personally I think it has to do with european tourists coming for NYC holiday stuff that is back in swing now but it speaks to the vaccine’s efficacy that we’re hitting a peak of new cases but the death count/hospitalization numbers don’t rise sharply in conjunction with that.
We had a doc actually contract Omicron and it’s actually more mild than the original Covid infection was, and NYC hasn’t done great with boosters either so I’m not very worried about it
The American heart association put out some s*** about last month

never understood why euros were allowed to travel anywhere even before covid

Isn’t getting and beating COVID effectively the same as getting the vaccine? I got COVID and the shot, but I felt like it was redundant.
Did any doctors say anything about that?

True. Only issue is that leadership doesn’t seem to care about severity and an increased number of positive cases is enough for more lockdowns and mandates
A number of schools in nyc have already warned staff to make plans for fully virtual lessons beyond Christmas break

Getting Covid and beating it will give your body some level of protection but it’s not 1:1 in terms of effectiveness vs the vaccine

My whole office had outbreak
I'm tired of this pandemic

It all depends on the organism too tho

Yea hospitalizations and ICU bed availability have been fine
But with nutass Hochul saying s*** like she wants to expand the definition of “fully vaxxed” to include boosters plus more lockdown talk. S*** is wack
We about to go on two years with this virus and they still haven’t learned that planning needs to be centered around living with it.
Swear my cousin's nephew's gym teacher's boss took the vaccine and had some heartache though
heartache or chest muscle pain? I think there is a difference lol
