i mean, being vaccinated has nothing to do with your ability to get or spread it so that's on them

Obfuscating vaccine efficacy will result in less vaccinated people which results in more dead people. It’s really simple

My guy, just because YOU got it from your vax mother does not mean that vax and unvax have the same spread rate or ability

dude, there are more covid cases now than ever before. this is statistical fact.

more of the population is vaxxed today than ever before. this is also statistical fact.

based on those things alone, there is no way you can tell me that the vaccine does much of anything to stop the spread when we're more vaccinated than ever and more people have it than ever.

the vaccine prevents major complications & death. I can agree with that 100% but it's not going to stop you from getting or spreading covid.

So as I understand it, being a dunce: the mRNA vaccine can teach your body how to produce a really wide swath of spike proteins, which accounts for a lot of already existing Covid variant strains and has the potential to account for ones that could/will soon come into existence

Getting covid and healing from it will only teach your body to produce a much more specific set of spike proteins, namely the ones that you just beat. It can’t account for other mutations in Covid like the vaccine can

That’s dope as f***, and really smart too. Damn shoutout to all the chemical/biomedical engineers out there

    1. Unvaccinated people are still the major proponent for spreading

    2. The vaccines effectiveness is next to nothing after 5 months. So somone like me who got the shot in may but not the booster could easily get and spread the s*** 7 months later even though i am technically vaccinated.

    3. The unvaccinated and vaccinated don't get or spread covid at the same rate.

I really don't think saying that saying healthy young people don't need the covid vaccine muddies the water on what the vaccine can do and it's certainly not selfish as you originally suggested.

Now if the statement was 'don't get vaccinated,' or 'the vaccine doesn't work,' then yeah, that f***s with 'vaccine efficacy' but my statement and its audience was pretty clear and as a result there's nothing 'selfish' about it. Those people aren't at risk.

Moreover, I don't think a post on a Kanye West forum is going to impact vaccine efficacy in the slightest bit, and even then if you are dumb enough to base your opinions and decisions on what a kid with his face photoshopped on top of MySpace Tom posted on said Kanye West forum and god forbid something bad happens, then that's kind of on you.

ok, that's fair. a fresh vaccine minimizes the spread by somewhere between 35%-65%.

however, like you said it loses its effectiveness rather quickly and if it can only be good for a few months and people aren't getting boosters, how effective can we really say it is altogether?

Vaccinated people are less infectious than unvaccinated people.

Young healthy people should be vaccinated. It's perfectly safe. Why shouldn't they be? It's a source of immunity without actually contracting a deadly disease. It's free and accessible.

A lot of people are starting at "vaccine bad" and reverse engineering their argument. Vaccines are good. It's like a top 10 human achievement. If you want to say Pfizer is bad or the roll out is poor or mandates are unfair or you are skeptical of mRNA, whatever, but time is showing this is a safe and accessible vaccine that will result in less dead bodies. It takes about as much time as getting McDonalds and the most you are likely to feel is as groggy as you do after getting drunk.

And why aren't people getting the boosters? Because of arguments like "I'm 'healthy' I don't need it"

In fact out senior population in NY is f***ing thriving

LMAO what kind of metric is this?

    Are boosters even FDA approved

FDA approved has more to do w time than safety

Rogaine was out in Europe like a full year or two before the US because FDA has arbitrary time restrictions on their approval s***.

point being FDA approval does not mean what u think it does

LMAO what kind of metric is this?

It’s anecdotal. The seniors that my health conglomerate serves are doing very well across the board in a number of important metrics, and they’re vaxxed to the gills. I was just talking with our billionaire CEO about it two days ago. I guarantee if there was a spike in heart attacks it would destabilize our business and the lives of our doctors on a ton of levels and we’d talk about it publicly

Because it’s irrational to expect people to get boosters every 3 months

Its not the practice it's the principle

Why do you have to get a trimonthly subscription to Pfizer in order to participate in society

Especially as the virus continues to get weaker

Its insane to think that people would trust a cardiologist who was able to warn people of the heart problems associated with mRNA vaccine.

He's wrong because "new studies" are proving the real things that are causing heart attacks:

    Marijuana
    Exercise
    Post-Pandemic Depression
    The Flu

Sleeping might be the next big cause

    “Doesn’t work.”

I guess it’s just a coincidence cases and deaths plummeted when the vaccine became available to the general public and only started rising when a variant appeared that the vaccine wasn’t designed for.
