quality of the music aside, i can barely call Her Loss a collab album. it felt like Drake had a bet with 21 like “if you win, you can hop on literally every song on my next album” and 21 won

when you put it like that WATTBA is way better than her loss because drake sons his 21 on every damn song

I don’t think so. I don’t think just because 2 names are on a project means it needs to be “balanced” in a certain way. It’s perfectly okay for people’s roles to be different in a collaboration or for one to be the leader

How about judging them as albums? I don’t believe we should judge collab albums any differently from regular albums

judging it as a collaborative album, it’s obvious that 21 was an afterthought & adds very little to the project as a whole, so it’s mediocre at best

judging it as a Drake album with a lot of 21 features, it’s probably my favorite in his discog since 2015

i can't front the only reason i really like Her Loss more is cuz of Drake lmao 21 was the nigga in the group project who just showed up lmao

a collab album is a different type of project from a solo album, so they should definitely be judged differently

a collab album is supposed to be a mix of two people’s styles blended into one cohesive project where they both take the lead

if that doesn’t happen, it’s essentially failed as a group effort, even if the music is still good
