I’m saying that Drake songs flopped even by instagram burner standards. Carti dropped on his burner too. Which I’ve already said.

100 gigs pack combined 17 million. H00d by air alone did 22 and that’s the lowest viewed track. If Carti dropped his songs on DSPs they would’ve charted too

I have no problem saying I like a lot of drakes music. That doesn’t mean I have to lie to myself and act like the 100 gigs songs didn’t flop

I'm not claiming Drake did anything groundbreaking by releasing music on a burner account; I was just pointing out that tracks dropped on a low-key account aren’t going to get the same numbers as tracks released with streaming metrics in mind.

Honestly, I'm having a hard time understanding the point you're trying to make. Drake is a musician, musicians drop music. But you seem to be more concerned with how many clicks they got rather than just enjoying them

Most of what Drake released this year charted, there are songs before and after the beef didn't chart. Multiple songs post beef that are Drake songs without full tracking weeks (only effects 1st week), MV, Artwork charted for multiple weeks. 3 out of the 5 Drake songs released post beef are still streaming well
(only 4 still on streaming)

From an objective standpoint Drake is doing what he's been doing numbers streams chart wise. I personally like his 2024 output. It's cool if you don't.

Of course. Drake stans will point to some streaming number that nobody irl cares about. But facts are--people think of Drake and Kendrick now almost joint at the hip. Can't think of one without thinking of the other. One of them won the biggest beef of their generation, the other lost.

Jay faced similar problems, but he had Beyonce/Kanye and the entire industry behind him at the time and the years have washed away a bit of the stain. Drake, unfortunately for him, doesn't have any of that in his favor. It's like Kendrick waited for the perfect moment to strike.

You’re bringing up songs that charted in the 50s and s*** and then fell off as examples of people caring about the songs. Any big name artist dropping a single will chart in 2024.

All you have to do is go on social media. Drake used to be bullet proof from about 2013-2018. Even during early 2020's he was a social media darling. Young people liked Drake. Now? He is like to get a negative response to anything he does. Whereas that was incomprehensible back in the day. Drake stans don't do him any favors, either

Charting is the definition of chart success.
Longevity on the charts is what you're talking about and a different story.
I don't know what Katy Perry song you're talking about as I don't listen to her my b.
I have yet to say any of these songs are hits.
I didn't say anything of these songs were anything more than songs with no push that charted. I haven't bent anything except show in various ways Drake is doing same as he ever wise looking at numbers streams consistency on charts.
