Nah you’re right, it’s great that we’re tryinf to be proactive but capitalist societies suck at dealing with problems like that

Solutions are only going to be implemented if there’s mass immigration from flooding or mass starvation and even then it’s gonna be too late

A new scientific breakthrough is the only way we can overcome this

100% and that’s my point but people are reading too much into it when I say a solution isn’t “needed” because just like you said, we need mass starvation/ immigration before it’s taken seriously.

Capitalism will come up with a solution when one is needed, it’s not needed yet

This is the right answer and it’s already starting with renewable energy investments

Cost for solar and wind are decreasing yearly

Google says 3-5 degrees celsius = 37-41 degrees Fahrenheit

    I don't see the problem

You don’t see a problem with 137 degree temperatures? Or are you trolling

humans are the cause of this s*** and it’s irreversible damage... we are a self-glorified species. It’s impossible to change our ways, unfortunately we will wear this planet out until it’s destroyed. We are the greatest invasive species that ever lived, thinking God gave us this planet on some fairytale s***. Humanity as a whole is entitled in every sense of the word.

When it’s down to brass tacks none of us really give a s*** because we know we won’t have consequences to face, we like to think we will be long gone before we face those consequences.

Kinda funny and sad that first page thinks the rising temperatures only means s*** is gonna be warmer
