lol what. couldn’t be more wrong

music isn’t some mystic delicacy that only a privileged sect of society gets to indulge in.

now how music has been commodified and treated less of an arts and more of just something to package and sell since its accessibility can bring greater revenue to the owners is another issue. And in turn how we as consumers can be affected by it. These are definitely things worth discussing

Music is absolutely a mystic delicacy.

Don’t know why you think that means only privileged get to listen. Music being commodified for revenue only is clearly a terrible thing if you’re a music lover.

people have been making music since prehistoric times, because you make the tools to make music more accessible over time doesn’t diminish its quality, that’s ahistorical nor does that have anything to do with music becoming a commodity.

and on the other hand there will be artists who will receive more fame and recognition than others as it has always been. many will go unnoticed but that doesn’t have a direct correlation with the quality of music either.

Streaming has diminished the quality of music.

What tf are you/we supposed to do unless youre an artist yourself or a person with some kind of actual power in the industry lmao

Audience b**** or praise (commentate) because thats all you literally can do as a fan or listener

Let rap naturally run it course for better or worse

If it is truly meant to stay (Which I believe it does) it will course correct itself

Kinda like artist like Wayne and Kanye popping off at time when generic cookie cutter gangster pop music by 50 and Game pushed by the interscope machine dominated the airwaves.
