I usually agree with your takes but idk about this one. I think you're too hung up on the generation concept.

Here's how I see it. If Drake/Cole/Kendrick are, say, generation 1 then Travis is like 1.5, with XXXTentacion, Juice WRLD etc... being 2

There won’t be another one for a long time, and there will only be one if the genre goes through a revival in the future. There will be chart climbers still like ice spice, in the same vein artists from beyond-their-heyday genres can still be chart climbers, but I don’t think we’ll get a new Kendrick or drake or something akin to that.
