i think if he focused on infrastructure and getting help to communities that need it, it may not be a bad ticket. As far as a foreign policy, presidents up till now have felt that they need to impose America's "powerful will" onto just about any country that isn't powerful enough to stop us, but I think a candidate Ye would bring the focus back home and really drive the idea that domestic growth is more important to us and to our position in the world. A humanitarian campaign with focus on pushing us into a more sustainable future, that's what i would hope for. It's the only way I'd vote for him, since those are the things i'm primarily concerned with as a human and an american at this point in our history. As for the anti contraceptive stance, I can't agree with that because they have become helpful in preventing unwanted pregs which is a key part of raising healthy and functioning families. However he is right about the origin of plan b for example, just read a little bit about Margaret Sanger and what she thought about the black community, it isn't hard to see that eugenics are a driving force behind some of the beliefs and structures still controlling this world

Between a senile child predator and two celebrities the one that has began manufacturing his products in the US, is building homeless shelters, and him and his wife have been working on prison reform doesn't seem like too bad of an option

  • Jul 6, 2020

what pains me to say is that I agree with OP and most parts of the first response criticizing OP. The other candidates are simply more terrible. Kanye is a capitalist with the moral mix of Christianity and hippies. It's weird.

if i had to guess, based off his 2018 chicago interviews, he thinks rich people (bosses) should come first because they deserve to be where they are. i'm sure many of them do deserve to be where they are but this ignores the things and lack of luck that is an obstacle to many people. this follows a trend among black conservatives to from james brown thinking anyone could make it because he did to candace owens' 'be a victim not a victor' ( think about ye on that mary j song 'i chose not to use my color as a handicap'). i feel like with ye because his mental health issues genuinely stop a lot of people from living the same way as others and it hasn't stopped him at all, that feeling will be even more bolstered.

he was once really sympathetic all over his music towards workers (if my manager assaults me again... can i at least get a raise on the minimum wage etc. ) but i just don't get that vibe from him anymore. can you imagine him demonising a boss in 2020? and many of his heroes had terrible practices for their workers, but he ignores that. i'm not saying he shouldn't look up to their innovation in other ways but he doesn't acknowledge it at all

he can't run cos he can't get on the ballot cos he's too late. but the experts he works with are also probably more likely to be right wing and he's always been influenced by who he's around

Ye used to work at Gap as a cashier or whatever. Now he's about to be the one to save their multi billion dollar company and will probably become a co-owner or some high level position in the company.

Maybe he knows something y'all don't

Y'all complain about y'all bosses for 25 years instead of becoming a boss yourself

jesus christ you guys actually vouching for kanye as president are f***ed in the head

I get it, biden is senile and trump is a f***. That still doesn't mean kanye would be anywhere close to a good president. You are genuinely really f***ing stupid or out of touch if you think kanye would be a decent president lol

also you're delusional if you even think he has a sliver of a chance of winning .5% of the vote in just one state

Sure, as would most candidates because too many people in this country still believe in nonsense & it influences their vote.

There’s a difference between that & what Kanye has been doing for the past couple of years.

When he’s more qualified than Herman Cain & Ben Carson? (and more sound brain-wise than Trump & Biden)
He’s also young likely wouldnt want conflict around the world as he’d view it as a sin, (there’s literally a drone in the wash us in the blood video).

Believes in climate change & has praised Greta Thunberg

He said in a 2018 video his campaign would be “The Trump Campaign and maybe the Bernie Sanders Principles”

Would be pro-life, prolly pro-weed as he’s stated he believes in it medicinally, and possibly pro lgbt?

Likely lower taxation, dont know opinions about Workers Rights?

If this campaign wasnt ran by a dipshit his platform could actually appeal to people, but instead him or his team can’t figure out Petition deadlines. Imagine if he jumped in after Super Tuesday. Somehow could be funded by a Elon Musk superpac and Kanye’s own? Tried his best to appeal to young people or christians (aka alot of the black and hispanic community with republican white crossover)

Kanye is campaigning for 2024 bro. He just easing people into the idea in this one.

Kanye has strong ties with Elon Musk and Jack Dorsey, the two most relevant entrepreneurs in this world as we speak. If he can bring Bernie's base and Yang's base together, that's how we change the world for better.

SpaceX is the future, not Blue Origin. Tesla is the future, not Ford or Toyota. Twitter is the future, not Facebook.

Y'all see this in Obama and Biden vs Trump lens.

I see this in a US vs Obama and Trump lens.

If you're informed you know who is in this for the greater good and who isn't. (Informed aka you ain't a sheep and can think for yourself)

Kanye is a master of delegating things. His body of work speaks for itself. He just has to convince the BLM leaders, the AOC's, the Bernie's, that he is actually on their side. Their goal is the same when it's all said and done. End poverty. Give everyone a decent life.

Kanye does so much s*** for regular people that are suffering or that have been involved in a crisis, like donations and setting them up for a come back, that doesn't blow up in the news like his flashy statements, that it's sad we're even having this conversation.

Yes he is a billionaire and lives that lifestyle. That doesn't take away everything else.

A dude that somehow finds KTT should know stuff like this by now.

on plus side of thing Kanye has laser focus work ethic, if you just see what the man has done over the years and what he plans to do, reports of him being sleep deprived and Kim saying he works too much

you can see he cares and tries alot

and he is actually self-made compared to other 2

no it’s more like kids don’t want to vote for dementia-ridden candidates that have zero plans to change the status quo. young voters overwhelmingly supported Bernie bc he represented progressive policy.

now that it’s clear we won’t get any progress there’s apathy amongst young people and so there’s more talk of meme voting

yeah i'm not denying that bro

But I don't believe everyone can become a boss. There's lots of reasons for that, and your attitude towards workers should effect that. But if you believe you're living in a meritocracy then sure I can see why you'd think that

Bosses don't have the right to sit on people just because they became more successful than them. Treating workers fairly is a principle, it's also one that will protect the future kanyes. as i said there was a time when ye was very pro worker in his music because that was his life then
