What you be able to pull it off and how do you find this idea in general´?

Did this during covid. Just watched youtube/netflix, read books and played games. Always checked up on artist i liked to see if they dropped anything. Possibly the calmest my mind ever been in life and would do it again no doubt.

Difficult.

I don't see the purpose because it brings more benefits to my life than negatives.

I try to use it in moderation and only when i actually need to find something out

I think it has distinct benefits but that 6 months is a longer hard break than necessary. Old Cal suggests a one month hard break where you spend the time honing in on your own personal interests and then bring back in technology in a mindful way and only to the degree necessary for all its benefits cuz that Attention Economy be frothing at the mouth for your mind.

i dont have any social accounts besides a twitter to keep up with news

i think i can get rid of it but idk if its harmful enough for me to feel like it’s justified

it was really peaceful, it's still easy enough to stay in contact with the people who really matter. you definitely miss out on the group chats etc. but as long as youre still maintaining those relationships it doesn't matter

I could only ever benefit from it but I don't see myself staying off literally every social media plarmtform for 6 months. Gotta have youtube at least

I quit all social media six years ago and never looked back. I do waste more time here than I probably would if I still had it though lol.
