I don't think it really matters, there have ALWAYS been people like this getting plastic surgery, is it maybe increasing amongst the population because of social media? yes

As a whole though won't really change society and in general doesn't matter

standards of beauty have definitely evolved but i think david's more talking about how one of the biggest social media platforms for example is Instagram - which is almost entirely based around getting likes based off of how good you look, and how damaging that can be for people

a couple girls i know been getting this thing where it makes them do the equivalent of 20,000 squats in 30 mins while they lay in a chair

same girl is basically a model / aspiring actress whos naturally attractive and got fillers and botox and a nose job. shes like 21
