TomorrowMy unbiased take in all of this is that Abel was able (lol) to sniff out how transactional OVO/Drake viewed their relationship with XO/The Weeknd.
They were both extremely vocal about how XO was planning on doing their own thing from the get go, yet Drake STILL dangles the “20%” thing, and “you won’t get away with just a thank you” etc.
I think Abel saw through all of that and wanted to keep his distance so Drake wasn’t able to say “I made your whole career”
I’d love to talk about this with someone with a level head lol lotta thoughts on this

Funny the Weeknd's albums back then were only 9 songs while Take care had 19 songs. Crew love and the ride wouldn't have done what they did without drake ,also without the weeknd.I think he just talked too much in those interviews and drake felt some type of way.

I'd agree with you but the fact that the video cuts just before dapping up The Weeknd is pretty telling about the intention behind posting it. That's how I see it anyway, could be wrong
