Stalin was retärded in many ways but Mao was even more retärded tbh. Lenin and Castro are the GOATs of dis shyt.

Yeah I Prescribe To Great Man Theory

Also Lenin had the privilege of dying at the right time. If Mao had died in like 1950 you would still have an Atatürk-esque cult around him. He does get serious love nowadays but most prescribe to the 70/30 line in China

    The Garden Stan

100% I noticed that very quickly watching Antifa vids like "why is it always scrawny white dudes with pokemon tatts?" Lmfao they have no real skills, no real prospects, and are 80k in debt for a cultural studies degree. They just want to be able to get high on heroin and watch BBC sissy trainer videos while the govt sustains them. It's pitiful. This is what happens when you don't bully kids enough in school.

reading the wikipedia article of Lukac is hilarious
“ Lukács has been described as the preeminent Marxist intellectual of the Stalinist era, though assessing his legacy can be difficult as Lukács seemed both to support Stalinism as the embodiment of Marxist thought, and yet also to champion a return to pre-Stalinist Marxism.”

and i’m like cause there’s no difference even Bernstein said Marx had a bolshevik streak in him

    Choose one of the five

Hegel - The Phenomenology of Spirit
    Kant - First Critique
    Heidegger - Being and Time
    Wittgenstein - tractatus
Lukac - History and Class Consciousness

Here’s some good intro works to dialectics

JMP: Torsion and Tension, you’ll have to do separate PDFs for each chapter iirc but just click through the links at the bottom. Unpublished but it’s a great introduction to dialectics and is contemporary so easier to read than some older texts

    moufawad-paul.blogspot.com/2016/02/torsion-tension-chapter-one-pdf-download.html?m=1

Georges Politzer - Elementary Principles of Philosophy

Decent broad overview of idealism/materialism followed by addressing more specific questions regarding diamat

    foreignlanguages.press/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/C17-Politzer-Elementary-Principles-1st-Printing.pdf

Lenin - On the Question of Dialectics

Weird formatting since it’s from his philosophical notebooks but classic, short text.

    marxists.org/archive/lenin/works/1915/misc/x02.htm

CPI ML (Peoples War) -Marxist Philosophy, Introductory Notes

Quite a bit longer and not as commonly recommended, but I think this is mostly a great overview. Some translation issues. This is from one of the parties that went on to form CPI (MLM)

    bannedthought.net/India/CPI-ML-PW-Docs/PW-EducationalMaterials/MarxistPhilosophy-AnIntroduction.pdf

    Engels - Anti-Duhring Part 1 (Philosophy)

Not much to be said here, a classic

    marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1877/anti-duhring/index.htm

Those are in no particular order so just peep the ones that interest you.

RevLefts Dialectics Deep Dive series is also good if you want something to listen to

True tho. Nobody here talks about Marxist economics tbh, mostly history and philosophy and politics.
