It is interesting seeing the different ways in how Floyd protests in 2020 and J6 were both co-opted and subverted by different elements of the government to contain militant action.

BLM eventually got co-opted by liberals and the DNC and turned into pushing for DEI programs and reform the police instead of abolish or defund, the corporate use of BLM and bringing inclusivity into the forefront, etc

With J6 most of the pundits who didn't outright condemn it eventually turned towards conspiracy theories about how the police, FBI were working for the "deep state" and it was actually them who planned it all along. Now most conservatives pretty much ignore any potential lessons learned from organizing collectively (using the term loosely) and instead think it was secrectly ANTIFA calling the shots
