Surplus value is a thing but this example yall used isnt factoring in expenses for running the business or paying for other services the business needs.

Heres the article. Owner took $6,300 in sales and $1,200 in tips and split it amongst his 96 employees.

I understand all the basic mechanics regarding a lot of different power based relations around the world and i get what we need

The reason I don’t read it though is because I’d rather work towards bringing class consciousness right now than having people read theory. Once we hit that consciousness I’d wanna hand it off to the academic marxists who can educate the people

As long as u got the basics you’re probably good, if you’re trying to put it into practice

only thing i see u running into is debates over specifics but i mean the US left isn’t far enough for debating specifics of socialism to even matter at this point - besides just for the sake of conversation.
